Ulm gives home to a formidable number of Hungarians, moved here since the middle of the 20th century. Yet the community remained rather unconnected from eachother, and from the "motherland". The title is the pshysical distance between Ulm and Budapest, capitol of Hungary. There is another distance though: a difference in environment, life quality and expectations, that is more than the kilometers.
The body of work was created within the two-week long Artist in Residence program provided by Visual Kontakt, and was exhibited in Kunstraum Visual Kontakt, at the Akademie für Darstellende Kunst, Ulm.
